A comprehensive branding exercise for a Gainesville based mutual aid organization called Feed GNV. The goal of the group is to give community members ample and easy access to all resources relating to food insecurity in Gainesville. This includes information on food banks, food drives, community gardens, and local farms. In order to create an effective visual language, design research and data mapping were used in preparation. Throughout the process, physical and digital assets were created to best represent the brand.
To begin the design process, I first created a mind map in order to brainstorm what information needed to be conveyed by the branding.
Then, after researching the ideas that were brainstormed, I compiled all information into a comprehensive report.
